WHY WE LOVE THIS WINE
"Fruit off Handpicked’s north-facing Native Point vineyard in the Tamar Valley, whole-bunch pressed into a concrete egg with natural fermentation. There’s a lot to enjoy here, starting with its heady aroma of lemon blossom, mandarin peel, grapefruit and ginger powder. The palate is finely tuned with tangy lemon-and-lime juice, a sherbet-powder feel to the lively acidity with a lick of sweetness on the finish, giving this some depth. It has a touch of raw-silk texture via phenolics, too. All in all, a lovely wine." - Jane Faulkner, January 2022
